We always encourage a comfort item or two from home! However, items may be removed from suites if it becomes a hazard to your pet, or any others on premises.

We ask that you please REFRAIN from bringing a large amount of toys and/or food/water bowls- we have plenty!! Walkin' Paws Flint is NOT responsible for any lost or damaged items.

Always! Holidays are what we call our "peak times," they are almost always our busiest, and book up the soonest! It's possible we are already booking holidays for next season already, so let us know what dates you're thinking! Also note, peak times have peak rates: $10/service/night.

Absolutely! The more, the merrier! Small Animals such as rodents and reptiles are always welcome. Unfortunately, we are unable to care for farm animals or cat/kittens at this time.

Walkin' Paws doesn't believe in breed restrictions, but we do realize all pups are different. Our home is not always the best fit for certain personality types, and that is totally okay! Excessive barkers, reactive or aggressive behaviors may result in a more proper placement. We will always work with you to find a better fit!

Nope! Introductory Days are a simple half days of daycare. They give our furry friends a chance to get comfortable here, learn the layout and humans of our home, and get familiar with all of the smells prior to an overnight stay! And of course, It gives us a great chance to meet!

We do! In order to respect all of our guests' time, we do have a late fee in place. When choosing your appointment time, you will have a 15 minute buffer zone, before and after your appointment. This is your set window, and please arrive within that timeframe. Arrivals/Departures outside of their designated windows, will be subject to our late fee. Please keep this in mind when booking your appointment times.

We have one of those too! We do understand life happens, and will always do our best to work with you. However, after an initial cancellation, cancellations of full service or singular nights within seven days of a designated service start date will result in a 50% retainer held of your entire invoice total. Cancellations of full service or singular nights within TWO days of a designated service start date may result in a complete invoice retainer.

Yes. To validate our Stress Free Protocol and to respect our clients, our staff, and the furry friends inside our home, we have set appointment times for you to choose from. We ask that you please set, and hold your appointment times placed for checkin & checkouts.

Unfortunately, we do not. We would love nothing more than to host your furry friend though!

Walkin' Paws Flint In-Home Dog Boarding is conveniently located near the Grand Blanc and Morrish Road intersection in Gaines, Michigan. We're about 10 minutes from Bishop International Airport as well as the 1-69 & I-75 Interchange. We are in a rural area, surrounded by the most wonderful neighbors!

Please keep in mind this is our home, surrounded by our family and pets, so certain limitations for our human guests may apply. Once your booking is confirmed and the required forms are signed, our full address will be released; this is for the safety of all guests on the premises.

What type of payment menthods do you accept?

Our preferred method of payment is to access your portal and pay via your invoice with your card on file. Otherwise, we ask that you please bring cash with you to checkin, not checkout. We are unable to accept checks, cash app, venmo, zelle, etc.
